Collection 003

Seaboard

The seaboard seems to heal and refresh and find someone within each one of us that we love.  Life at the beach doesn’t take anything too seriously yet requires something more of us when we leave than we brought with us when we arrived.  This collection’s color pallet creates itself with the linen of sand, the soft yellow of sunshine and the million hues of blue found in the water and sky.  Patterns are inspired by the tailored sails of a boat, nautical flags, a crisp pinstripe and large bushes of white hydrangeas peeking through the pickets of a white fence.  Sandy pages of a book and lazy hammocks swing in the wind.  Materials are marine strong fairing the weather yet maintaining the crisp clean crease of a navy uniform.  Food is prepared with ease from the sea and the land just needing a squeeze of fresh lemon and herb. Just like a well appointed ship, hardware becomes jewelry finishing each piece off just right.  Textures compliment as the grit of the sand delights against the shimmering glassy water.  Bikes and convertibles invite the delicious summer breeze, never rushing to the destination, always enjoying the journey.

The ocean is powerful but disciplined, strong as it crashes upon the rocks but elegant as it dances along the shoreline.  Nothing calms yet requires more bravery than the sea.
